Misato Ogihara is a Japanese artist with a long and varied career. She has worked as a set painter for operas and ballets, and currently works as a book cover illustrator, as well as exhibiting her paintings in galleries. Both an animal and a nature lover, her inspiration comes from the natural world, favorite pets, and items from daily life. Ogihara splits her time between Tokyo and Yamanashi.
